Disclaimer: I did this haul online way BEFORE I started my Project Pan, but I just got it when I flew home yesterday! Anyways, words cannot describe how excited I was about getting the NARS Foreplay Cheek Palette in my hands!
When I first read that NARS is coming out with this Sephora exclusive cheek palette, I flew to Sephora’s website and got it right away. I decided against getting their last cheek palette, and I have been kicking myself about that for a long time, I know I need to get my hands on this one! Somewhere along the line I don’t know how I’ve became so obsessed with NARS blushes. It will take forever to finish them (or even just hit pan), and yet I can’t seem to stop buying them. It’s like Pokemon… I need to catch them all!
Anyways, the Foreplay palette is a “deconstruction” of NARS’ infamous Orgasm blush. I myself do not own that blush, so I am glad now I can say I have that blush! Apart from Orgasm, this palette also has 3 other blushes/highlighter that will apparently produce the shade Orgasm if mixed together. It has a gold highlighter, a matte peachy blush, and a matte bright fuchsia pink blush. These three shades do not have names, but the peachy one reminds me of Amour, the pink one Gaiety (although slightly darker). I am not familiar with NARS highlighters (or any brand for that matter), so I don’t know if NARS has a “dupe” shade for that. I got this palette for $49CAD, but I see that it has gone up to $58CAD on Sephora’s site! I guess I got lucky and got it before they upped the price for us poor Canadian shoppers?! I have included pictures to compare the size of this palette to a regular blush! Hope that helps!
To get free shipping, I got a couple other items. First is the Tarte Clean Slate Deluxe Primer Trio. It was $12CAD, and contains 3 primers, including the Clean Slate Poreless 12-hr Perfecting Primer, Clean Slate Flawless 12-hr Brightening Primer, and Clean Slate 360 Creaseless 12-hr Smoothing Eye Primer. The face primers are 7.5ml (0.25 fl oz) each, while the eye primer is 2.6g (0.09 oz). I have never tried any Tarte products so I am excited about this! They all seem to have pretty good reviews about them. Their sizes also make them great for travelling!
The last item I bought is a Caudalie Summer Reset Duo. It has the Lip Conditioner (which I love), and a 50ml Cleansing Water. I got this set for $15CAD, but it’s at $12CAD now. I also only got the 12 instead of 15 points for this… I might need to give Sephora a call about this. Anyways, the Lip Conditioner alone is $12 so it’s not a bad deal even if I got it for $15 (especially with the money I saved from the Foreplay palette). The Cleansing Water has raving reviews so I am very excited to try it. The Lip Conditioner works magic for my lips, no matter how chapped and dry they are, this can fix it faster than anything else!
I got a Deluxe Sample of Boscia Bright White Mask (10g) with a coupon code that Sephora had. As for the 3 free samples, I chose the Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Corrective Serum, Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer, and Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream.
