Spring/Summer Day Out Outfit
March 19, 2012 § 2 Comments
The weather has been unseasonably hot lately. It feels like it’s summer but it’s not even officially spring yet. I remember last year this time there was still snow on the ground! Talk about global warming eh. I am definitely not complaining about the weather, I just wish I was more prepared for this since I packed away all my summer clothes and brought them home to Winnipeg during reading week. I guess it’s time to shop for shorts and skirts and dresses!
Anyhow, this gorgeous weather inspired me to put together a outfit that I think would be perfect for this weather, it’s simple, cute, and yet the lace and flower hairpiece add some femininity to it. I used it with pink shorts but to be honest, any pastel colored shorts would look great with this outfit! I hope you like it!

When browsing fashion blogs lately, I noticed many of them have recent posts with a common piece: floral pants. Spring is finally here and what’s a better way to welcome Spring than wearing something floral print? Floral dresses, shirts have all already been done, so why not floral pants? Pairing them with a simple top, sandals/flats/heels, and sunglasses and you have a perfectly assembled outfit!

Obsessed with… Printed Tops
February 23, 2012 § 3 Comments
I am currently in this phase where I am completely obsessed with blouses. No more T-shirts. No more hoodies. Just blouses. I think it’s part of my effort in trying to slowly transform my still-juvenile closet to a more sophisticated and mature one.
And I have noticed when I am shopping for blouses, I keep gravitating towards those with cute print all over it. It’s no secret that I am obsessed with polka dots, but lately I find myself attracted to other prints… starting with bows, then hearts, then anchors, then owls… you name it. They add such a cute twist to classic blouses and can be worn with many different outfits. Pair it with jeans and an oversized bag for a casual look, or with a skirt and heels for a work-approve look (stick to more traditional prints might be a good idea if you are going to wear it to work. No cats, no owls…).
Here’s a round up for a few cute printed blouses! Let me know which one you like the most!

1 Boyfriend Blazer, 2 Ways with Bright Pumps

Hello there, I noticed I haven’t done a 2 ways post for a while! Since I just finished one round of insane school work, I think it’s about time for me to post another one! This time I was inspired by boyfriend blazers. They are such a staple in any wardrobe, simply because 1. they go with so many things, 2. you can dress it up and down. I guess 2 is kind of included in 1… Anyhow, I was thinking it’s almost spring (in my mind. But in reality we just got hit by more snow, I hope the weather is more gorgeous where you are!), I want to incorporate something colourful that will cheer people up! And being a shoe addict… bright coloured pumps naturally came to my mind. I hope you enjoy this 2 ways post!
