Well.ca Haul and Experience Review

A little while ago Well.ca was having a sale on some CoverGirl products, so I took advantage of that and got a few things from the website. This is my first time placing an order from them so I decided to post a review about them also.

First let’s get on with the haul, all the CoverGirl products I got were 50% off, including the Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in the shades Black Diamond, Constant Candy, and Perfect Penny (Right to Left). I originally got 3 of the CoverGirl Jumbo Gloss Balm, in the shades Rose Twist (top), Blush Twist (bottom), and Ruby Twist, which unfortunately was not packed with my package. Instead, they packed the Rimmel Stay Glossy Lipgloss in the shade All Night Long (more on this matter in a bit). I also picked up the CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara in Very Black because I’ve heard a lot of amazing things about it. To bring my total up to enough for free shipping, I picked up the Tresemme Nourishing Rituals Rejuvenating Mud Masque, since I have been quite into hair masks lately, in hopes to salvage my damaged hair.

When I found out they packed the wrong item, I was NOT happy, especially because I was super excited to try Ruby Twist. So I gave them a call, and first, I didn’t have to wait in line, and the customer service was really nice and helpful. After I explained what happened, she told me she would refund me for the Jumbo Gloss Balm that I didn’t get, and told me to keep the Rimmel lipgloss. I also got my refund within 10 minutes of hanging up, which I think is amazingly fast. Apart from this little fiasco, the whole shopping experience on their site was very smooth, and items shipped the next day, and I got them within 2 days. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience with Well.ca and I will definitely

Hi everyone!

I realize it’s been a long time since I made a new post, and my apologies! School and life have been super busy lately so I didn’t really have the time to blog, but I am going to try to get a blogpost in here and there (no promises though since exam is creeping up real soon). It definitely feels good to be blogging again though! Anyways onto the meat of the post… « Read the rest of this entry »

Okay. One last haul (for a couple days)! I left the housing thinking I won’t buy anything… and yet here we are. Such bad self discipline. tsktsk. I blame my friend for showing me this amazing “up stairs store”… and it all started there. « Read the rest of this entry »

MAC + Sephora + Bath and Body Works + Drugstore Haul

June 2, 2012 § 9 Comments

Oopsies another haul… and a rather big one. I only meant to buy one thing today… and end up with way more! I am running out of my usual make up remover (Lancome Bi-Facil), so I planned on trying out MAC’s cleanse off oil, since people have been raving about it. The girl at MAC recommended Cleanse off oil Tranquil, the only difference is that it also contains lavender and camomille, which helps calm the skin and reduce redness, it costs the same as the regular cleanse off oil ($12CAD for 30ml). I also got sucked into buying a lipglass (i have no idea how), I have never tried the regular MAC lipglass, and it is pushing my limit in terms of stickiness, but the color is so gorgeous that I caved. I ended up getting it in the shade Lychee Luxe. It’s a coral-pink with golden shimmer. Perfect for summer time!  « Read the rest of this entry »

Eye Of The Day Vol. 1

March 21, 2012 § 6 Comments

So it should probably be Eye of The Week really. I have been wearing the same make up on my eyes for a while and I just love how easy it is and how it turns out so pretty! (Well I think… LOL!)

(Sorry for the under eye circles… totally in need of a good under eye concealer… any suggestions?!)

My whole entire make up routine in the morning takes around 7-8 minutes, from primer to lipstick. I feel like that’s a pretty quick routine… which is important for me since I always sleep in and still want to get to class on time. I am so glad i picked up the Urban Decay Naked2 Palette last month. It’s been making it effortless to create any neutral eye looks that are appropriate for class! There are certain shades that I gravitate towards more, and those are the ones I am featuring in today’s EOTD. I actually took these pictures after 7 hours of wear.

So here’s my EOTD
- Urban Decay Primer Potion (Original) — all over lid
- Snakebite from Urban Decay Naked2 (deep gold-toned bronze) — outer 1/3 of lid
- Suspect from Urban Decay Naked2 (shimmery light bronze) — inner 2/3 of lid
- MAC Fluidline in Blitz & Glitz (Black with gold shimmer)
- Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black

Wishlist Vol. 3

March 1, 2012 § 6 Comments

I was planning on posting this on leap year day… but decided that school is slightly more important… Guess I will have to wait 4 more years for another chance to post on Feb 29.

Anyhow, it’s wishlist time again! I haven’t been window/online browsing a lot last month so there aren’t thattttttt many things I want. I was very focused on deciding which Balenciaga City to get, and nope. Still no decision.

I have been mostly obsessed with shoes lately, particularly sandals. Spring is almost here! Both neutral and bright sandals are going strong this spring. Especially colour blocks!

From top left, clockwise:
Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara
NARS Night Breed Nail Polish
Christian Louboutin Summerissima Crisscross Platform Sandal
Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque
Stella & Dot Artemis Cuff (How badass is this?!)
Ruthie Davis Horizon – Poppy Multi

What are you wishing for this month?
