Wish list Vol 4.

I haven’t done a wish list in quite a while. There haven’t been too many things I wanted, so it took me a while to put together another wish list. It’s a mish-mash of make up, tech stuff, shoes, accessories etc. What are you wishing for right now?

NARS + Essie + The Bay Haul

I went to Holt Renfrew today in hope of locating the Prada bags I have been lusting for… but with no luck. Holt Renfrew just does not carry what I want! They did not have the Balenciaga City Bag that I wanted, or the Marc by Marc Jacob wallet that I wanted… and now this. But all is not lost! I wandered to the NARS counter, and ended up purchasing two NARS products from their summer collection. They did not have the products out for display yet, but they did have the products in stock. (Sephora did not have the summer collection in stock as of today). I got the Never Say Never Velvet Matte Lip Pencil, and the Liberte Blush. I totally did not plan on getting these today (was going to wait till I head to the states), but Holt Renfrew is having a promotion where you get a gift card that’s worth 15% of your cosmetic purchase, and 25% of your apparel and accessory purchase. Their site says it’s from April 28-29. I also got a Valentino perfume sample when I saw walking around! Yay for perfume samples!

It’s spring time! Almost anyways. And bright pumps are the best way to step into spring! It’s so colourful, cheery and can liven up any outfit immediately! Colour-blocking pumps are the epitome of bright pumps in my opinion. There are so many different variation, so many combinations, and they are so much more eye catching!

Hello there, I noticed I haven’t done a 2 ways post for a while! Since I just finished one round of insane school work, I think it’s about time for me to post another one! This time I was inspired by boyfriend blazers. They are such a staple in any wardrobe, simply because 1. they go with so many things, 2. you can dress it up and down. I guess 2 is kind of included in 1… Anyhow, I was thinking it’s almost spring (in my mind. But in reality we just got hit by more snow, I hope the weather is more gorgeous where you are!), I want to incorporate something colourful that will cheer people up! And being a shoe addict… bright coloured pumps naturally came to my mind. I hope you enjoy this 2 ways post!

1 Pair of Oxford Heels, 2 Ways with Balenciaga

Ever since pearlessence showed me these oxford heels… I have been obsessed with them ever since. I managed to snatch a pair of oxford heels from another store when they were 70% off and they turned out to be the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn! I was inspired by this obsessed and decided to put together two outfits to go with black oxford heels. Since they are perfect for dressing up or just a casual day out, I put together a casual and a more put together outfit that’d be perfect for a lunch date!

As for Balenciaga… well I am having an unhealthy obsession with the brand. I am in love with this bag and I have been looking at other purses from Balenciaga so I decided to pay homage to the brand by featuring them in these outfits! And hopefully in the near future I will be able to afford my very own Balenciaga bag.

Girls’ Night Out

So yesterday I went to this Charity Ball my university organized and I was deciding what to wear and that inspired me to blog about it. It’s more like about what I would have loved to wear with my dress but I did not own… I wore a strapless black dress with a pair of white pumps, and red polish and I just feel like those three colour combination is just classic and will never be outdated! Wish List – 2012 January Edition

Too many things I want, too little time to shop. Here’s another wishlist of things that I am currently obsessed with and would love to get my hands on soon (at least the more affordable ones).

I Crave… Lacey Shoes + Wish

Exam stress is getting to me, and my way of dealing with it is… to look at pretty things that I can’t afford! (Yes I know that makes no sense but hey that’s what works for me!) I was browsing on Nordstrom to look for ideas to submit a product to a site called “Wish” (more on this later in the post) and I realize every pair of shoes I click on are… lacey! (and pricey!) They are just so feminine and classy, I can’t help but fall in love with them (and hopefully own a pair soon, trying to save up for a pair of Louboutin!)

I have previously blogged about studded shoes and how there are cheaper (<$200) options, but personally I think it’s a different story for lace pumps. I have yet to come across any cheaper alternative of lace pumps that still look classy, but I will keep my eyes open for them for sure!

Oxford Heels

Yes, I am a shoe-aholic. Although I don’t have a huge collection of shoes as of yet, I am slowly building it! And since I am living in an apartment, that makes online shoe shopping more tricky (delivery is such a hassel). I have always shied away from shoe shopping online for this reason, but with the help of my lovely friend pearlessence, who kindly allowed me to ship all my online purchases to her address, I have since bought too many pairs of shoes online.

My favourite is definitely this pair of oxford heels.

Standing at 4 inches, these beauties are surprisingly comfortable. I just wish the weather was nicer here so I could wear these out! It just started to snow and its going below 0 so I will probably have to save these for spring, but a pair of classic heels like this will never be out of style!
