The weather is still humid and hot like yesterday, and I am bracing myself for weather like this for the rest of my time in HK, which I hope isn’t true lol! I headed back to Mannings today just because I can (gotta love how convenient it is to get everywhere in HK!), and also did a quick stop-by at a chain department store called Log-On. Continue reading
Although I love my high end eye shadows, I am always on the hunt for cheaper alternatives! One of my favourite youtube guru emilynoel83 did a drugstore dupe video on MAC shadows, and there are a surprising amount of dupes that exist that’s by Wet n’ Wild. She also mentioned their quality are really good. Bliss No.9 also did a review on a Wet n’ Wild palette, and noted how great the qualities are. So I decided to pick one up myself. I was going to pick up a palette of 8 shadows, but they were not sold at the Walmart I went to. Fortunately they had their 3 shadow palettes on sale for $2.97. I picked up the palette called “Walking on Eggshells”. It comes with a pearly white, with slight yellow undertone shade for browbone; a slightly shimmery taupe colour for crease, and a pearly pinkish shade for the eyelid. Continue reading
I picked this up when I was at Shoppers Drug Mart another day to return the Yes to Cucumber Facial Wipes (reviews coming soon). I had a $4 off coupon so I decided to pick this shadow up since I’ve heard many beauty gurus mention this in their videos.
According to Covergirl, these Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadows are “Simple, single shades with an advanced, stay-put formula. Mix and match them the way you want to create your own combos with matte, pearly or sparkly shades! They blend easily to let the natural beauty of your eyes come through.” I picked it up in Tapestry Taupe, since I am addicted to neutral shadows lately. Continue reading
So it should probably be Eye of The Week really. I have been wearing the same make up on my eyes for a while and I just love how easy it is and how it turns out so pretty! (Well I think… LOL!)
My whole entire make up routine in the morning takes around 7-8 minutes, from primer to lipstick. I feel like that’s a pretty quick routine… which is important for me since I always sleep in and still want to get to class on time. I am so glad i picked up the Urban Decay Naked2 Palette last month. It’s been making it effortless to create any neutral eye looks that are appropriate for class! There are certain shades that I gravitate towards more, and those are the ones I am featuring in today’s EOTD. I actually took these pictures after 7 hours of wear.
So here’s my EOTD
- Urban Decay Primer Potion (Original) — all over lid
- Snakebite from Urban Decay Naked2 (deep gold-toned bronze) — outer 1/3 of lid
- Suspect from Urban Decay Naked2 (shimmery light bronze) — inner 2/3 of lid
- MAC Fluidline in Blitz & Glitz (Black with gold shimmer)
- Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black
