Last MAC Haul in Hong Kong + 1st Brow Shaping Experience

Okay. So I have 2 more days in Hong Kong, and I am NOT planning on doing more hauls. (We will see how that goes). Here’s my one last MAC haul in Hong Kong, and probably my last haul for a long time, since I will be embarking my Project x Pan journey when I get back to Canada. I also wanted to talk about my first time getting my eyebrows fixed, and my very first “make up class”, all at MAC!

Hong Kong MAC Haul Round 2

Yeap. Another MAC haul. I went all out yesterday, after finding out that most basically everything from MAC is cheaper in HK than in Canada (taking tax into consideration). I swear this is the last haul I’m doing in Hong Kong, and I will be starting a project 20 pan when I get back to Canada! (I apologize for the quality of the pictures, but the lighting at the place I’m staying at isn’t the most idea for picture taking. I will be posting reviews on these when I get home, along with better pictures!)

I haven’t done a wish list in quite a while. There haven’t been too many things I wanted, so it took me a while to put together another wish list. It’s a mish-mash of make up, tech stuff, shoes, accessories etc. What are you wishing for right now?

Another haul post… this is what happens when I go to the mall two days in a row. Well I do have an explanation this time, London drugs (a drugstore that’s only in certain provinces in Canada) has a couple for $10 off any $25 purchase of makeup… how can I pass on that? 

MAC Star Violet Eyeshadow Review and Swatches

Now that I got my new camera, I have been taking pictures of my make up for the whole morning, since I can finally show the colours/shades more accurately than from the iPhone camera… so, expect a number of review/swatches posts coming up!

I bought MAC’s Star Violet shadow near the end of 2011, but I haven’t really dipped into it until recently. While I am rather adventurous with lip colours, I am pretty conservative with eyeshadow. I do love colour shadows, since they are so pretty, but I just can never convince myself to put them on my lids. 

Forever 21 Eyeshadow Haul

I was at F21 with my mom and my sister today and I saw some make ups at the bins at the check out. They are all so cheap! I ended up getting an eyeshadow duo for 99cents (on sale from $3.80), and then an eyeshadow quad for $1.50! I don’t really know how their qualities are but since they are so cheap, theres no harm trying right?!

Wet n’ Wild Eyeshadow Trio in Walking on Eggshells Review and Swatches

Although I love my high end eye shadows, I am always on the hunt for cheaper alternatives! One of my favourite youtube guru emilynoel83 did a drugstore dupe video on MAC shadows, and there are a surprising amount of dupes that exist that’s by Wet n’ Wild. She also mentioned their quality are really good. Bliss No.9 also did a review on a Wet n’ Wild palette, and noted how great the qualities are. So I decided to pick one up myself. I was going to pick up a palette of 8 shadows, but they were not sold at the Walmart I went to. Fortunately they had their 3 shadow palettes on sale for $2.97. I picked up the palette called “Walking on Eggshells”. It comes with a pearly white, with slight yellow undertone shade for browbone; a slightly shimmery taupe colour for crease, and a pearly pinkish shade for the eyelid.
